Our Story…

Tony Canale was born in low-country Louisiana where his grandfather was a Merchant Marine and his entire family followed suite, devoting their lives and careers to the water. Shrimping, crabbing, water skiing and boat racing ran in the family blood.

Canale attended college in Nashville, TN at the Auto Diesel School until he relocated to Atlanta where he would work in the automotive industry for over a decade. However, powerboats would remain at the forefront of Canale’s mind as he worked long nights and many hours on his side-hustle.

Finally, Tony opened Canale Marine and his dream came true overnight. Loyal customers followed him to his new business, and spread the word of his quality work, giving him more work than he could handle!

This family owned business is a keystone in the Lake Lanier community and a shining example of the American Dream. This is a place where customers become life-long friends, and long hours of work are celebrated with epic boat-rides & good times.

Walking into Canale Marine, you get a neighborly feeling, seeing familiar faces of the community and members of Canale’s family helping out around the shop. There’s a sense of trust that Tony genuinely cares about the integrity of his work - a quality that is so hard to come by these days!
